Terms of Use
Last updated: May 12, 2026
These terms govern how organizations and staff use Noura. They are written for pilot partners in plain English. A separate signed agreement may add details for paid or production deployments.
The short version
Use Noura to help people find work with dignity. Do not use it to discriminate, surveil, sell data, or make automated decisions without human review. Noura drafts and organizes work. People remain responsible for decisions.
1. Who can use Noura
Noura is for organizations doing employment-support work, including refugee, immigrant, newcomer, workforce, and community-based programs. End-clients do not log into Noura today. Staff enter information on their behalf after consent.
2. Your responsibilities
- Only enter client information after your organization has permission to use that information for employment-support work.
- Do not enter social security numbers, immigration document numbers, bank information, legal filings, or medical records unless Noura has explicitly approved a secure workflow for that data.
- Review and edit AI-assisted drafts before using them with a client, employer, funder, or partner.
- Do not use Noura outputs as the sole basis for excluding a client from a job path, service, or opportunity.
- Keep staff accounts private. Tell us quickly if an account may be compromised.
- Report bugs, privacy concerns, and security issues to hello@withnoura.com or security@withnoura.com.
3. Our responsibilities
- We will not sell customer or client data.
- We will not train AI models on customer or client data.
- We will enforce organization isolation with database Row Level Security.
- We will route model calls through server-side functions so browser users do not see API keys.
- We will respond to deletion and export requests within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days.
- We will keep a public security page with the controls that exist and the controls still in progress.
4. AI-assisted work
Noura may draft intake questions, plans, resumes, cover letters, job-fit notes, retention prompts, and reports. These are drafts. Your organization is responsible for reviewing them, correcting mistakes, checking legal or funder requirements, and deciding what to share.
Noura is not a lawyer, immigration representative, doctor, therapist, tax preparer, or benefits counselor. If a client needs those services, refer them to a qualified professional.
5. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use Noura to discriminate against a protected class or to hide discriminatory decisions behind software.
- Use Noura to monitor workers, clients, or community members outside the employment-support purpose they consented to.
- Resell Noura, expose it as a public API, or operate it for a third party that has not been approved by Noura.
- Try to access another organization's data, bypass role controls, attack the service, or extract secrets.
- Upload malware, illegal content, or information you do not have authority to use.
6. Pilot status and availability
During the 2026 pilot period, Noura is provided to selected partners for evaluation and early use. We do not yet offer a paid enterprise service-level agreement. If there is an outage or serious error, we will be direct about what happened and what we are doing to fix it.
7. Data export and deletion
Your organization can request an export or deletion of its data. We will provide a reasonable export window before deletion. Some audit records may be retained when needed for security, legal, or funder-accountability reasons, but we will minimize retained data.
8. Liability
Noura is a tool used by organizations and staff. We do not guarantee a job, interview, placement, retention milestone, funding outcome, or legal compliance outcome. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Noura's liability is limited to the amount your organization paid Noura in the 12 months before the claim. During a free pilot, that amount is zero.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA. Unless a signed agreement says otherwise, disputes will be handled in state or federal courts in California.
10. Changes
If these terms change materially, we will email organization account holders before the change takes effect. The date at the top will change whenever this page changes.
